About Denise Elfenbein

Denise Elfenbein

My first photo class was in 1996. I began with black & white film photography. I would spend hours in the dark room, developing rolls of film in chemical processors and perfecting images with darkroom enlargers. Now, I shoot digital. I was inspired by my instructors to photograph everything to figure out what I loved to shoot and what came naturally. At that time, it was dramatic, fun portraiture and rock bands. Later on, I exposed myself to weddings, events and professional concert photography Now, I am drawn to photograph close ups in nature, still life and creating abstracts..
